YOUNG PROFESSIONALS - Join Building industry professionals, under 45, for professional development, networking opportunities and community service projects. This committee provides guidance on ways to enhance the younger member’s association experience and provide insight on mentoring, leadership training and entrepreneurial and general education for emerging industry professionals.
PROFESSIONAL WOMEN IN BUILDING - The Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) is the voice of women in the building industry—dedicated to promoting industry professionalism and supporting members. Through education, professional development and networking opportunities, PWB helps members acquire and develop invaluable leadership and business management skills that boost career success.
AMBASSADORS CLUB - The Ambassadors Club focuses on connecting new members with other professionals in the Association. The Ambassadors Club meets with new members and provides volunteers for Association functions. This Club is open to all members who enjoy meeting new people and growing their circle of industry contacts.
REMODELER’S COUNCIL - The Remodeler’s Council represents those persons whose primary business is in the Remodeling Industry. Programs include a speaker’s bureau, educational seminars, networking opportunities, and professional designation programs.
SALES & MARKETING COUNCIL - The Sales and Marketing Council provides information to its members whose interests are increasing and sharing their knowledge of sales & marketing. Educational seminars, publications and networking opportunities are provided on a regular basis.
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE - The Membership Committee is responsible for planning membership promotions/ contests and events, growth and retention of membership, member engagement and education, and recognition of Spike members. Membership committee consists of 3 sub-committees:
ASSOCIATE COUNCIL, NO FEE - The Associate Council is the elected council of Associate members who work to promote the following events for the Association: Spring Home & Garden Show, Fall Home & Garden Show, Bass Tournament and Golf Tournament. There are a limited number of seats available, and only one person per member firm may serve on the council. Service begins in January of each year; however, spots may open throughout the year. If interested, your name will be placed on the ballot for election to the council. (Meets monthly)
